A Color Rennovation

Hello!

I am sure you thought I had gone away never to return…I was just on my super awesome Stampin Up Cruise to the Southern Caribbean…a VERY much needed trip for Andy and I!  We had a FABULOUS time and I've been working on getting back into the groove all week! 🙂

Stampin Up announced a big change to color just before we left, and I wanted to take a minute to share it with you–I am so excited about it I can hardly stand it! 

First of all they are retiring some colors, well, lots of colors:

Now I know this is a bit scary to see so many colors on this list, but it is a good thing.  Most of these colors are ones I rarely use.  I will miss several colors (and I am planning on stocking up on a few).  If there are colors you'd like, ORDER THEM NOW!!  There are already backorders on certain colors and Stampin Up will NOT guarantee any colors after May 31st.  So, if there is anything you'd like, please place your order on my Stampin Up store site (www.drekow.stampinup.net) or order them through an email to me.

Now let's get to the best part of the rennovation….what it will look like after July 1st (when the new catalog comes out):

There will be 4 core groups (just as there was before) and they will be named: Brights, Neutrals, Regals and Subtles.  They are a bit re-arranged from what they were before and here is the exciting part:  They are bringing back some of your favorite colors from the last several year's worth of in colors!!!!  The following colors will return:

From the current in colors:

-Rich Razzleberry

-Soft Suede

-Melon Mambo

Plus previous year's colors:

• Baja Breeze (yippie)
• Pink Pirouette( yippie)
• Riding Hood Red (yippie)
• Pacific Point
• Tangerine Tango
• River Rock (Yippie)
• Wild Wasabi

They are also adding some colors:

• Cajun Craze (a deep rusty color)
• Daffodil Delight (just like it sounds)
• Early Espresso (a really deep brown–love it)
• Cherry Cobbler (you'll just love this one–deeeeeeep red)
• Marina Mist (must have my aqua color!)

These colors are part of the permanent core colors.  They will be available on July 1st.

Then (if you were not yet confused), they will add 5 new in-colors every year and those colors will be available for 2 full years (instead of one).  They are really pretty–they showed them to us on the cruise but I can't remember too much of them now…give me a break I was on vacation!!! 🙂
