Welcome to the Creation Station Blog Hop!! I'm so delighted you stopped by and i can't wait to share my projects with you!! You've just arrived from Sara's lovely blog.
This week's them is Single Stamps and Bag it up (creative uses of our bags) . I love the theme! But I cannot get Beyonce out of my head: All the Single Ladies!! 🙂
So my very favorite single stamp is Vivid Vases. It is so cute and really easy to color!! The watercolring is super easy and I just stuck with a pallate of Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, and Old Olive. I decided to use a technique where I create a frame around the image with a framelit as my guide. You can see how in this video:
Next I wanted to use my second favorite single lady: Watercolor Thank You
I used the Watercolor Words stamp set with Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Hello Honey and Island Indigo. I used the Sharpie for this frame to go with the bolder images. Then I just brushed my aquapainter over the top of each image to make it a bit more colorful.
The next Single Lady includes the Thank you again combined with a background stamp:
I just LOVE how this card looks and want to make more with different colored flowers! The Watercolor Wash Background adds a great touch to this simple card. Aquapinters with Blackberry bliss nad Always Artichoke for the flower/leaves from the stamp set, Birthday Blossom.
And finally one of the other themes was to use our bags in a creative way. I think this counts: I die-cut the new spotted bags with my Bold Butterfly Thinlits–LOVE!
COlors are Mint Macaron and Night of Navy.
I hope you've enjoyed these fun projects and are inspired to make some of your own! Have a great Holiday Weekend if you are from the US and thanks for stopping by! Up next, the AMAZING, Jen!
